eSUPPRESSOR™ HIGH RATE DISCHARGE SUPPRESSOR
The IEP Technologies eSUPPRESSOR™ is a high-rate discharge suppressor used for explosion suppression and isolation systems. Its electro-mechanical operation is unique to the industry, as no pyrotechnic devices are required for activation. The eSUPPRESSOR has standard features that include pressure monitoring, lock outtag out capability and LED indication of device status. A key benefit is that all the safety functions are fully monitored, which is not possible for any device employing pyrotechnic actuators. The eSUPPRESSOR design and manufacture has SIL2 third party certification. Upon detection of an explosion event, the Explosion Protection Control Unit sends an actuation signal to the eSUPPRESSOR valve mechanism. The highly specified trigger mechanism allows the valve flap to open extremely rapidly (less than 10ms), which allows the suppressant to be discharged through the nozzle system into the protected volume.

ETR-Bucket Elevator with continuous round chains (for large grain size)
Non-dredging Low-Speed bucket elevator for lifting large-sized material. Elevator with two round link continuous chains and toothed wheels. The chains are anchored to the sides of the buckets to ensure central discharge aligned with the bucket elevator. The main features of the bucket elevator include the following: - standard dimensions (i.e. bucket width) of the same series as for high-speed elevators, starting from 315 mm - non-dredging continuous pocket buckets with overlapping edges, equipped with bushings for connection to the driving pin - drive wheels with exchangeable teeth for driving the chains - return wheels with hub and smooth rings - high-grade alloy steel continuous chains with long strands - couplings for connecting the chain strands - bucket driving pin, one end of which connects to the chains - central feed inlet on idle station - central discharge outlet under drive station - standard tensioning system with contrast springs, pair of threaded bars and adjustement nuts Type of feed system: central Type of discharge: central gravity Drive station These bucket elevators can lift large-sized lumps of material (even up to 400 mm), thanks to direct loading into special "pocket" buckets without any dredging The picture shows the drive station of an ETR bucket elevator during installation. Note how the "pocket" buckets are joined together and ensure gravity discharge in the central zone of the drive station Boot station Lower section of the bucket elevator comprising the central feed inlet. The special feed system configured at the centre of the boot station, allows for directly feeding the buckets without dredging thanks to a suitable hopper that protects the return shaft. In this way, even exceptionally large sized lumps of material can be lifted

EVN 3.0 Explosion relief valve
Many process vessels are located inside a building or areas where standard explosion venting cannot be safely employed. For these applications, the IEP Technologies EVN3.0 flameless explosion vent may be the best protection solution. When an explosion occurs, the EVN3.0 opens and vents the explosion pressure through a flame arrester, thereby cooling the hot gases and quenching the flame. The EVN3.0 integrated opening detection sensor provides an interface with the process control system and allows plant personnel to respond accordingly in case of an explosion within the protected application. The IEP Technologies EVN3.0 flameless vent is self-closing which can reduce “post-event” downtimes. Also available is the EVN3.0H which includes a food grade silicone gasket. Both the EVN3.0 and EVN3.0H are available in a latching model, EVN3.0NC. The EVN3.0NC opens and latches until manually released and can be used in conjuction with isolation flap valves which have been tested to EN16447 – “Alternate testing procedure”.

EVS Elevator spiral track
The Elevator spiral track EVS is indispensable in the transport of all the materials that need to be elevated in height, cooled and/or heated. The construction of the apparatus consists of a helical track with a constant pitch housed and fixed on a central pipe support usually built in AISI 304. The transport of materials trough an uphill motion produced by unbalanced motors which generate a boost oscillating amplitudes and frequencies subsidiaries. The proper calibration of the motors and the robust construction of the machine makes that the material can be transported with a layer constant and that it can remain so throughout the path up to the discharge end. This peculiarity makes the transported material can maintain a uniform layer and homogeneously distributed over the entire width of the conveying path guaranteeing, if need be, also needs a proper cooling, heating or evaporation. Features and plus: - inserting in narrow spaces thanks to the plan section of contained dimensions. - possibility of entering air blowers cooling or heating systems. - feed and speed of the material to be transported configurable through - - rapid changes in frequency to ensure the smooth progress of the different materials. - easy installation, low maintenance, quick cleaning and reduced downtime.
