THE GROUP IS EQUIPPED WITH AN IMPORTANT WAREHOUSE OF MECHANICAL SEALS, LIP SEAL BEADS AND RINGS We have component and pre-assembled cartridge mechanical seals for heavy-duty applications on pumps, mixers and reactors. We have a production laboratory for P-SEAL lip seals in single, double version and certified for FDA – GMP hygienic applications. For packing seals, the Group avails itself of German production collaboration to manufacture and market belts, braids for dynamic seals (rotating shafts and pistons) and static seals (tanks, boilers, equipment in general) directly on the Italian territory. In our laboratory we make preformed rings or metre to size and design on request.

We produce sectional flights with a wide range of diameters and thickness pitch. We can make flights with a diameter of external or internal cylindrical and tapered withdevelopment at 360° or half sectors. We can make sectional flights with special tooth profile or any type of cut drawing shapes and holes. On request we can make screw shaft complete of welding and balancing with special surface finishes such as polishing and satining.

The semi-automatic big bag filling device designed and manufactured by Stawimpianti allows you to fill big bags quickly and efficiently, reducing operators' maneuvers to the bare minimum. The hydraulic piston for adjusting the height of the discharge mouth, together with the rotating hooks, allows the operator to hook the big bag straps in total ergonomics; once the big bag has been filled, the automatic release system will allow quick and easy removal of the big bag. The system also includes a maximum level installed inside the discharge mouth, motor vibrators to compact the product into the big bag and a weighing system using weight subtraction load cells.

Go for the round ones! Our 26s are ideal for processes with dirt or build-up due to their innovative design and electrode structure. The semicircular active surface is 50 % larger than other standard designs and thus enables safe and reliable level detection. The 26s are media-optimised, i.e. the various dielectric constant (DK) of the different media is irrelevant for detection. We only use high-quality materials such as PEEK & PTFE for this series. Both materials have a very good chemical resistance and abrasion resistance and are also FDA compliant according to 21 CFR 177.1550. The round ones are mainly used in the semiconductor, chemical and food industries.

Among the Moretto solutions offered for storage systems, Silcontrol is designed and developed to control the loading of plastic granules into storage silos. The material is identified through the use of a barcode reader and automatically matched to the silo via a database. The system queries the ERP software to verify the compliance of the scanned material with the relevant purchase order, through a powerful PLC with a colour touch view and an intuitive graphical user interface. Once the polymer to be loaded has been confirmed, the connection to the destination silo is prepared. The system states the loading phase with a LED lamp and verifies the coupling of the tanker truck with the indicated silo. Silcontrol does not require operator intervention when filling a batch of material. This reduces the risk of human error and ensures that the process is under control. At the end of the loading process, when the tanker hose is unhooked, the silo duct closes automatically, protecting the silo contents from environmental dust. Silcontrol is available in different versions: - Basic control with STORZ coupling; - Control with CAMLOCK coupling; - Control with MONTEDISON coupling; - LUX control with connection according to Industry 4.0 criteria; - 10” colour touch view. Silcontrol is a patented system.

PREFABBRICATED BOLTED SILOS Our silos are composed by ferrules, each one is formed by three different flanged sheets which are then bolted with each other. Each ferrule will bolted and joined to the next until the desired height. Thanks to this method of mounting each silo can be easily disassembled and reassembled with a different height, a different arrangement of nozzles or holes for the passage of tubes. The internal discharge cone can be 90 degrees or 60 degrees depending on the stored material. It too is formed from different flanged sheets, which helps during assembly and disassembly. Bigger silos (percentage-wise) are more economic than smaller ones ! In fact, as you are aware of, there are some basic costs as silos foundations, accessories, etc. that do not depend from size of silos! Additionally, the impact on the transport, is very low. Additionally , bolted silos are more stiff and can better stand vibration and possible implosions. This is the reason why, as per consolidated experience and site conditions, companies are preferably going for larger silos ( up-to 500m3).

The F Series single screw feeders are designed for feeding powders, granules and synthetic fibers. Available both in volumetric and loss-in-weight releases with electronic load cell system, they ensure precision and reliability. These feeders are used in different configurations in all industrial sectors, from cement to chemicals and in the special release entirely made in stainless steel AISI 316L in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The different configurations available made them suitable for processing materials with very different grain size, fluidity and density. Available also in ATEX release.

There is an upward movement in the periphery and a downward movement caused by gravity in the centre of the mixing vessel. You can improve the cross flow by inclining the mixing vessel up to 25 degrees. This mixing machine achieves technically ideal mixing qualities. Mixing goods can be dry, wet, suspended or pasty. According to the required processing/ mixing result (either gentle or aggressive and dispersive) you can select the mode of operation: gentle blending, deagglomeration, wetting at low energy input, wetting at high energy input, agglomeration, drying, improving of solubility etc.
