About us
Stawimpianti is partner of hundreds of companies, which are supported in designing, manufacturing and supplying of turnkey plants for storing, dosing, conveying and packaging of solid bulk materials such as powders, granules or flakes.
The headquarters located near Milan (Opera), in addition to the technical, commercial and administrative offices, also has an internal department for software design and a test plant which is always available for customers and good to test powder conveying and mixing solutions.

Dense phase pneumatic conveying system
The dense phase pneumatic conveying allows the handling of the product even for large flow rates (up to 50 t/h) for significant distances that can even reach 200 meters. The material is introduced in batches inside the propeller which is put under pressure and conveys the product inside the low-speed conveyor line. This pneumatic conveying method - particularly suitable for delicate, clinging or abrasive materials - can be issued without or with air injectors into the line, useful to push the product till the discharge point.
Emptying Big Bag System
Stawimpianti big bag emptying systems can be equipped with a spout for big bags with valve, or with cutting blades for closed big bags. Designed on customer's needs, devices such as side pushers, lifting hoists and suction systems can be inserted depending on the situation.
Lime water production plant
Plants for lime water production are useful in the inerting processes. Depending on the needs and on the available spaces, large-sized storages can be created for more massive consumption. According with the daily consumption silos from 20 to 90 m³ can be used. Where the customer needs a more flexible solution, lime water production plant can be built on a skid, good to be easy forklifted and move to several inerting points.
Bag Filling Machine
The semi-automatic bagging machine is placed downstream of powder mixing or screening plant. Its semi-automatic operation requires the presence of the operator, who is in charge of inserting the valve bag into the bagging machine spout and starting the work cycle. The stop is determined by the electrical panel wired on the machine, which blocks the dispensing when the preset weight is reached. The semi-automatic bagging machine can support a flow rate till 100 bags of 25 kg each per hour.
Diluted phase pneumatic conveying system
In dilute phase, pressure or vacuum, pneumatic conveying systems, material is moved within the conveying line through a considerable amount of air, generated by a blower or a vacuum. The vacuum pneumatic conveying, also allows to transport material ensuring its total confinement within the pipes and avoiding any dispersion in the environment. This pneumatic conveying method is very useful in the case of dangerous powders or products of high economic value.
Storage silos
Stawimpianti builds and installs monolithic and bolted panels silos, in carbon or stainless steel, made in compliance with current regulations and always provided with a calculation report made by a qualified professional, to ensure the correct structural sizing. In case of storage of potentially explosive materials, silos are equipped with anti-explosion panels sized according to ATEX guidelines.
Semi-automatic Big Bag filling System
The semi-automatic big bag filling device designed and manufactured by Stawimpianti allows you to fill big bags quickly and efficiently, reducing operators' maneuvers to the bare minimum. The hydraulic piston for adjusting the height of the discharge mouth, together with the rotating hooks, allows the operator to hook the big bag straps in total ergonomics; once the big bag has been filled, the automatic release system will allow quick and easy removal of the big bag. The system also includes a maximum level installed inside the discharge mouth, motor vibrators to compact the product into the big bag and a weighing system using weight subtraction load cells.
Automatic Big Bag Cutting system
The automatic big bag cutting device designed and created by Stawimpianti match the manufacturing companies needs, which increasingly require safety and speed in emptying big bags and avoiding the contribution of human operators for the activities of hooking, emptying and removing the big bags. The possibility of preloading the necessary quantity of big bags to be cut and the simple, linear and continuous operation of the machine allow cutting up to 25 big bags per hour. The compactor and the integrated dedusting system guarantee powder total confinement and the reduction of the volume of the whole amount of bags cutted.
