DIT® Technology
To overcome and improve the traditional Bag In Bag Out procedure, which is used worldwide to couple drums in isolation technology applications, CSV Containment has designed and manufactured a Double Iris Interface (DIT®) system, an innovative device for drum handling, containment and automation. The DIT® system can be placed on both rigid and flexible isolators and consists of a cylindrical passage box with full-diameter opening and closing ends by means of an elastic elastomer diaphragm instead of folding doors. The double elastic barrier allows to minimize the contact surface of the drum with the internal atmosphere of the contaminated chamber and to automate the insertion and extraction operations. Furthermore, it is possible to obtain a negative or positive pressure difference between the double iris passage box and the adjacent chambers.

Continuous Liner
In our manufacturing facility we produce the continuous liners, folded or donut wound plastic packs, compressed and pre-packaged to obtain, with the lowest amount of space, several meters of material. The continuous liners can be unwound or unrolled into the drum to load dusty material, avoid any contact with the drum itself and make possible to never open the discharge circuit. An extreme versatility, which allows the creation of several solutions in different shapes and colours. They are made of usually low-density polyethylene films directly supplied by CSV Containment, but we can also transform material provided by third parties indicated by the end customers especially when already validated.
Flexible Isolators
In our manufacturing facility, classified as ISO 7/8, we produce, in accordance with GMP requirements and clients’ specific needs, continuous liners and flexible isolators, sometimes called glove bags, to confine all the exposed operations or temporarily modified the inner atmosphere (cleaner area, low humidity or inert needs). Similar to plastic bubbles with gloves, filters, zippered doors, wires and hoses pass through and any required tools, they are usually ad hoc products. They are made of basic pharma low-density polyethylene or Polyurethene films directly supplied by CSV Containment, but we can also transform material provided by third parties indicated by the end customers. The always-increasing quality of our work and the effort to improve constantly have led several costumers to authorize us as Qualified flexible technology supplier.

Isolation Technology
In our workshops, we manufacture and assemble rigid isolators and glove boxes. Representing more permanent solutions for customers’ containment needs, our rigid isolators are tailor-made in relation to the specific operation to be carried out, be it sampling, dispensing, equipment charging, offloading and so on. They can be made with a variety of materials, from stainless steel 304/316/316L up to Hastelloy C-22. We always involve our customers in the realization of their rigid isolator to show them step by step the project and adapt it to their needs, for example in the mock-up phase where they can see and get a more precise idea of the machine we are going to build. We also support our customers right up to the final validation and testing phase, for example with the leak and smepac tests.

Twin Tie® Enclosure System
The Twin Tie® clamps must be manually pulled over the liner before being compressed with the tool to ensure a complete and secure seal. The manual tightening tool for safe closure system Twin Tie® is the latest addition to the CSV Containment line and complements the wide range of products to suit all needs. To allow for neater and safer work, the Twin Tie® is sold in a handy case so it is always ready to use. The hand tool can also be easily hung inside an isolator, and the generous size of the clamps allows them to work even with the gloves of a rigid isolator. Dedicated tensioners inside the glove boxes have no surface treatments, so they are not affected by solvents.

Instant Benchtop Isolator
CSV Containment presents the new Instant Benchtop Isolators – the ultimate single-use solution for fast, reliable containment in laboratory environments, ready to use in just 5 minutes. The Instant Benchtop Isolator offers an innovative, disposable glove bag system mounted on a sturdy acrylic frame. Ideal for quality control, laboratory testing, and in-process control, it combines ease of use with full compliance and safety.
