Capacitive Sensors for Level Control for Food and Pharma - S26
The capacitive S26 sensors have a semispherical active surface as outer sign indicating that this is an extraordinary device for level control. This natural shape facilitates draining of materials and thus enhances the antistatic and anti-stick characteristics of the housing made of PTFE. At the same time the cleanability is improved. In connection with the patented electrode structure which is specially designed for the S26 sensor there is a sensor at your disposal that is very insensitive to soiling or material adhesion . This guarantees a safe and reliable level detection. On demand this sensor is available with built-in Bluetooth function for a wireless data transfer. For applications with higher demand on the mechanical resistance, e.g. for applications with higher pressure or for the detection of abrasive media, like sugar or salt, we recommend the use of the S26 sensor with a robust PEEK body.

P3 | 3 output modes
The P3 function - 3 output modes in one sensor. Our P3 method is based on the principle of the normally open/ normally closed antivalent switch, i.e. the three output modes can be switched. This function is particularly advantageous for level detection of different media. Two different switching points (min./max. setting) can be detected in one and the same sensor. This setting option saves time, allows more freedom in your processes and is also easy to parameterise. The P3 function is integrated in our 26 series and in our EasyMounts.
Capacitive Level Measuring Systems
The capacitive level measurement systems (KFS/KFA/KFX) operate according to the three-electrode principle. With this principle the container or an additional electrode serve as a counter-electrode to the probe electrodes. For this reason it is necessary with this system that the container is of a conductive material or a "substitute electrode" is fixed to the container wall, e.g. copper foil. These systems are available with probes for analogue filling level measurement or for detection up to 4 measuring points. The position of the switching points and the analogue measuring area is custom made within the possible effective range and therefore it can be determined for optimized matching of each application.

Ex Barriers
The Series N-132... isolating switching amplifiers (Ex Barrier) transmit switching operations from an intrinsically safe control circuit to a non-intrinsically safe active current circuit. The control units are designed according to NAMUR-DIN 19234 or EN 60947-5-6 intrinsically safe and according to IEC 60079 [Ex ia] II C. The conformity is certified in Germany by DEKRA EXAM GmbH.

i-Level (+) | capacitive level measurement systems
Our i-Level level probe is suitable for a very large measurement volume. The measurement takes place between the probe and the container wall, with the metal container wall forming the counter electrode for the measurement. In our i-Level+ variant is also suitable for large measurement volumes. With it, the 3rd electrode is integrated into the probe and therefore allows the use in a plastic container. The measurement takes place in the immediate vicinity of the probe. Our rod probes with integrated evaluation electronics are based on our patented 3-electrode measuring principle. Between the measuring electrode in electrode in the probe and the metallic vessel wall (or additional electrode). the measurement takes place. The measuring field is limited by inactive areas upwards and downwards. A defined empty adjustment can be without having to fill the vessel up to the probe or to fill up the or even to know the filling material. The following versions are available: 1. analog level probe with 2 additional switching points and EasyTeach function 2. analog level probe with EasyTeach by Wire (with or without connection head) 3. limit level probe with 1 switching point and EasyTeach by Wire (with or without connection head) 4. limit level probe with 2 switching points and EasyTeach by Wire (with or without connection head). Advantages of the probe: - Analog measuring range freely selectable within the analog measuring range - 2 additional freely placeable limit value switching points within or outside the analog range - With intelligent PNP / NPN detection, normally open or normally closed function programmable - Optional analog outputs with 4...20 mA / 20...4 mA or 0...10 V / 10...0 V - Power supply between 18...30 V DC - EasyTeach function - On request variants with EasyTeach by wire (ETW) or CANBus interface - On request with customer-specific fixed programming: "Mount and Go - Electronic lock - prevents unwanted setting changes

In addition to explosion protection, the probe can be used under extreme process conditions. - Pressure load up to 10 bar - Active zone up to +250°C The probe is mainly used in the agricultural industry for level control of explosive bulk materials, e.g. grain or flour.

TRUELeveL® | Capacitive analogue level measurement system
The capacitive measuring systems of the TRUELeVeL® series are designed for analogue level measurement. The system consists of a level probe and evaluation electronics. The analogue level measurement automatically compensates for the DK change (DK = dielectric constant) of the product to be measured. This is particularly advantageous for level measurements with changing media. For the DK compensation a "reference" measurement is carried out, for this purpose there is a reference range in the probe tip. The TRUELeVeL® probes are available in customised lengths from 400 mm to 2000 mm. The position and length of the measuring section can be freely defined within the possible measuring range and can thus be optimally determined for the respective application. There are different variants of the evaluation electronics, from analogue output voltage 0...10 V DC via current 4...20 mA up to frequency 0...10 kHz. The setting of the measurement is very simple and can be carried out completely in the empty state. The direction of action of the output signals as well as the LED display can be defined by dip switches. Sloshing movements can be faded out by an adjustable time delay (attenuator). A relay assigned to the reference section can be used as no-load protection. Advantages are: - Level measurements in containers, pipes up to approx. 5 m diameter. - For liquids and bulk solids εr ≥ 1.2 - Also suitable for inhomogeneous media due to large measuring volume detection - With appropriate mounting almost independent of the cone of repose - Probe can be used in the range from - 70 °C to + 250 °C - Insensitive to electrostatics - Automatic compensation of dielectric constants means it can also be used with changing materials without recalibration - Complete adjustment can be easily carried out in empty condition

Series 26 | A Round Thing
Go for the round ones! Our 26s are ideal for processes with dirt or build-up due to their innovative design and electrode structure. The semicircular active surface is 50 % larger than other standard designs and thus enables safe and reliable level detection. The 26s are media-optimised, i.e. the various dielectric constant (DK) of the different media is irrelevant for detection. We only use high-quality materials such as PEEK & PTFE for this series. Both materials have a very good chemical resistance and abrasion resistance and are also FDA compliant according to 21 CFR 177.1550. The round ones are mainly used in the semiconductor, chemical and food industries.

TiLevel | The Gamechanger '24
The Gamechanger '24. Our analogue level probe with integrated DK compensation detects media from a dielectric contact Er > 1.2. Why is this innovation an absolute gamechanger? Unlike the previous models TRUELeVel® & iLevel, the TiLevel solves your challenge when changing products. With this technology, there is no need to rebalance when changing media. This allows you to focus on other things. Another plus point is the adjustment in the empty container. This means that no product has to be wasted for the adjustment. As with the other level probes, true to our motto "Custom-made level control for your industry", we offer individual solutions that meet your requirements - from variations of the probe matrix to the probe dimension.

ATEX All-in-One | Gas + Dust
It's all about combining things. Gas and dust approvals in one device. Our ATEX All-in-One sensors are approved for reliable and safe level control in all hazardous areas, thanks to our certifications for zones 0, 1 and 2 (gas) and 20, 21 and 22 (dust). The sensors do not require an Ex barrier. The All-in-Ones are available from size M8 up to M32. They can be supplied with the EasyTeach by Wire function and with food certification.

PERLeVeL® | Capacitive binary level measurement system
The PERLeVeL® capacitive measuring systems are suitable for limit value measurement of fill levels. The system consists of level probe & evaluation electronics. The probes are available with 1, 2, 3 or 4 fixed switching points depending on the probe length. The positions of the limit value switching points are freely definable within the possible range and are specified by the customer when ordering. This allows the probes to be optimally determined to suit the respective application. The fixed limit values are formed by the specified measuring ranges. The limit value signals are practically independent of changes in the dielectric constants (DK) of the products. The customised probes are available in lengths from 100 mm to 2000 mm. The evaluators with 4 switching points can be extended by using the master and slave principle. The models are the same. The coding of which unit is master and which is slave can be easily done by the user. Each slave unit allows the extension by 4 measuring points. In addition, we offer compact probes with process connection head. The evaluation electronics are integrated in the connection head. As variants we have 1 or 2 fixed limit value switching points. Advantages are: - Level measurements in containers, pipes up to approx. 5 m diameter. - For bulk solids εr ≥ 1,2 - Also suitable for inhomogeneous media due to large measuring volume detection - With appropriate mounting almost independent of the cone of repose - Probe can be used in the range from - 70 °C to + 250 °C (does not apply to KFX-...) - Insensitive to electrostatics - Suitable from εr = 1.1 - i.e. for extremely low bulk densities (e.g. polystyrene) - Measurement influences due to deposits negligible - Suitable for any container shape - For fixed limit values independent of DK changes - Multiple measurements without mutual interference - Convenient adjustment ("blind" adjustment)

EasyMount | Integrated EasyTeach function
Our EasyMounts contain everything the user's heart desires! As the name suggests, the mounting is super easy and thus facilitates the use within your application. The EasyMounts are characterised by small dimensions and excellent technical properties. They can therefore be mounted in a variety of ways. The sensor can simply be glued to the desired position or attached with one of our EasyMount holders. With the integrated EasyTeach function, the sensitivity as well as the switching distance can be adjusted almost by itself. There are two ways of doing this: either the EasyTeachbyMagnet is used by means of magnets or the EasyTeachbyWire by means of a cable. The easy and quick completion of both variant settings allows you to focus on your core competence. Furthermore, by using the latest production techniques, the components of the sensors are embedded in the plastic. The EasyMounts are waterproof and work wear-free.
