DGM GRAVIX, high precision in dosing
The DGM Gravix series offers the highest levels of dosing precision and complete production flexibility. Thanks to its advanced technology and consistent performance, it is the ideal blending solution for the plastics industry. The range boasts several exclusive features, including the double eyelid shutter device. This ensures extremely precise dosing, thanks to an unbeatable reaction time of just 25 milliseconds. The Vibration Immunity System (VIS) uses a special algorithm to overcome the challenge of vibrations, enabling the blender to be installed directly on the processing machine. The Rotopulse technology, a patented Moretto system, is capable of dosing the master even down to a tenth of a gram. The weighing hopper is independent of any mechanism and free from interference factors. The hoppers functional design allows the uniform descent of granules and quick material changes. The blender is equipped with Ethernet and RS485 ports that support Modbus and OPC UA protocols, and it is fully compatible with the Mowis supervision system developed by Moretto. This connectivity makes DGM Gravix a comprehensive tool, ready to meet the evolving challenges of today’s plastics industry.
Silcontrol, 4.0 silos loading system
Among the Moretto solutions offered for storage systems, Silcontrol is designed and developed to control the loading of plastic granules into storage silos. The material is identified through the use of a barcode reader and automatically matched to the silo via a database. The system queries the ERP software to verify the compliance of the scanned material with the relevant purchase order, through a powerful PLC with a colour touch view and an intuitive graphical user interface. Once the polymer to be loaded has been confirmed, the connection to the destination silo is prepared. The system states the loading phase with a LED lamp and verifies the coupling of the tanker truck with the indicated silo. Silcontrol does not require operator intervention when filling a batch of material. This reduces the risk of human error and ensures that the process is under control. At the end of the loading process, when the tanker hose is unhooked, the silo duct closes automatically, protecting the silo contents from environmental dust. Silcontrol is available in different versions: - Basic control with STORZ coupling; - Control with CAMLOCK coupling; - Control with MONTEDISON coupling; - LUX control with connection according to Industry 4.0 criteria; - 10” colour touch view.
