For our company, the development of malting plants was a natural progression, stemming from the experience gained in manufacturing machinery for grain processing and from a growing awareness of food-related matters.
After decades dominated by products obtained through large-scale processing cycles, there is now an increasingly widespread trend toward regionalization. As a result, producing one’s own malt has regained importance for small and medium-sized operations. This is especially true for craft breweries, where concepts such as “origin” and “territory” now play a fundamental role.
