The ILT Food level indicator is the food-grade evolution of the TOREX® rotary level indicator. Designed for hoppers and silos, it provides a repeatable ON/OFF signal at minimum and maximum levels.
Why ILT Food makes the difference
• Food-grade certified: The version compliant with Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 and IP65 protection is designed to eliminate product build-up zones. Threaded connections meet food-contact requirements.
• Safe in dusty environments: EX II 1/2D (ta/tb IIIC T100 °C) version available on request.
• Easy integration: Relay interface for PLCs or alarm systems, with robust and reliable ON/OFF logic.
How it works in practice
The rotating paddle detects product presence; torque reaction stops the motor and activates the relay. When the level falls, the system automatically restarts. Operation is binary, stable and easy to diagnose, ensuring dependable level control over time.
