Parma, X November 2025 – The world of technologies for powders, granules and bulk solids will gather once again for the upcoming edition of SOLIDS Parma, taking place on 11–12 February 2026 at Fiere di Parma, a strategic hub for the process industry.
To date, the number of confirmed exhibitors has already surpassed the figures of the previous 2024 edition, which had recorded 143 companies (+17% compared to 2023). This reflects the growing interest of companies in the sector and a dynamic, rapidly evolving market.
SOLIDS Parma continues its strong growth trajectory, accelerating its focus on innovation, processes and new markets. Not only are exhibitor numbers increasing, but the variety of the offering is also expanding, reaffirming the transversal identity of the event. Alongside the traditional sectors of material handling, storage and processing, the show will dedicate significant space to fast-growing fields such as plastic and textile recycling, which are increasingly central in industrial and environmental policies—and which will also be key topics in the event’s conferences and round tables.
Another noteworthy trend is the arrival of companies with production profiles that differ from the historical exhibitor base, such as industrial gases, humidification technologies and maintenance software. SOLIDS 2026 is therefore opening up to complementary markets and solutions beyond its traditional core. Current market data confirms food as the leading sector (78.4%), followed by chemicals (65%). The pharmaceutical segment is experiencing significant growth (56%), entering the top three in terms of both exhibitors and showcased solutions.
The rich conference programme will once again be a cornerstone of the 2026 edition. Attendees will have access to workshops, round tables and technical sessions focusing on key themes such as plastic and textile recycling, AI and robotics, and M.O.C.A. (Materials in Contact with Food) regulations, with special attention to new European standards. Advanced methodologies for granular material characterization—such as flow function testing—will also be presented, with practical examples and industrial applications.
NEW FEATURES
For the first time, SOLIDS Parma 2026 will introduce a dedicated Start-up Area, offering a platform for emerging companies to present disruptive solutions and engage with established industry players.
SOLIDS Parma 2026 will also deliver a cultural experience through the contemporary art gallery “Plastic Rebirth”, showcasing artworks created from recycled plastics—combining aesthetics and sustainability while reinforcing messages of circular economy and environmental responsibility.
The Innovation Gallery will return, featuring a selection of cutting-edge technologies. A dedicated jury chaired by Franco Canna, Editor-in-Chief of Innovation Post, will select the five most promising solutions, which will then be voted on by visitors to determine the winner of the Visitor Innovation Award.
SOLIDS Parma is a vertical event designed for high-level decision-makers and technical professionals—CEOs, technical directors, production managers, buyers and engineers from sectors including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, plastics, glass, metals and recycling. A unique opportunity to connect with industry leaders, discover frontier technologies and contribute to the future of the bulk solids industry.
