The Drum Blender is designed for the mixing and homogenization of dry powders directly inside drums, eliminating loading, unloading, and cleaning operations of traditional mixers. It is suitable for applications in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, plastics, and minerals industries.
The system is managed by a PLC control unit connected to safety devices and the external safety structure, driving an electric motor that rotates the drum clockwise and counterclockwise at adjustable speed. Efficient blending is achieved through a tilting system up to 30°, ensuring uniform product mixing.
Featuring a high-tech, easy-to-inspect and clean design, the Drum Blender is available in two models for drums from 2 to 200 liters, with a maximum load of 200 kg. The system complies with cGMP, UNI EN ISO, ATEX (when required), and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 regulations, falls within the Industry 4.0 category, and can be customized to meet specific process requirements.
