SBB-ADS is WAMGROUP’s next-generation FIBC discharger with integrated Anti-Dust System, developed to solve the most common Big Bag emptying issues: dust emissions, manual intervention, incomplete discharge and poor flow of compacted or difficult materials. It combines a proven mechanical concept with improved sealing, ergonomics and cleanability for easy, clean and safe Big Bag emptying.
At the core of SBB-ADS is the loading interface, which allows the operator to connect the bag outlet quickly and safely while ensuring a highly effective dust-tight seal. An integrated dust filter, optimised for particles >50 μm, manages local emissions; for finer powders a dedicated external filter can be added. An additional gasket on the FIBC-to-hopper connection (carbon-steel version) further reduces dust leakage, improving workplace cleanliness and helping compliance with stricter dust limits.
A petal-shaped flow aid system enables controlled full or partial discharge, maintaining reliable flow even with compacted products. Discharge is further supported by an electric motovibrator, a reinforced structure (thickness increased from 4 to 6 mm) and a pneumatic FIBC closure system that lets operators start, stop or modulate material flow according to downstream requirements.
SBB-ADS is designed with strong attention to operator safety, ergonomics and hygiene: a side-mounted quick-lock mechanism reduces set-up time and handling errors, while smooth internal and external surfaces minimise material build-up and simplify cleaning in food, feed, chemical and pharmaceutical plants.
Its modular design and options – such as an electronic control panel and inTUBE™ Dust Collector with nano-fibre media – allow configuration to material, bag size and layout. Certified under WAMGROUP’s ISO 9001 quality system, SBB-ADS is a robust, scalable platform for plant designers, production and maintenance managers seeking safer, more efficient Big Bag emptying.
